STORIE

 

During my education at Colorado Mountain College, I took a class called Ski and Snowboard product design. In this class I was part of a team that built a ski company from the ground up, We created the logos, top sheets, core designs, camber profiles, marketing, ads, business plan, etc. The company we built was called Storie. I did all of the design work for the top sheets, cores, cambers, logos, advertising, the full catalog, and much more. The final for the class was a presentation on our company and products that was evaluated by local retail store owners on the criteria of likely to succeed in the real world. Our company won this evaluation and got to have one our products produced. I have put together here the designs for all the skis and snowboards for our company including the progression of out final product that was produced by Meier skis in Glenwood Colorado. The ski that was produced for us by Meier was sold as one of their best selling products known as the "Fat Johnny" for a few seasons.
