SKATEBOARD CREATIONS​

I collect old, broken, unwanted skateboards in order to create something new and functional. I have made these Guitars and basses along with other various items by repurposing these old boards. the Maple used when making skateboards is a great material because of its durability and tonal qualities (the sound that comes from the wood's density). Maple is one of the most widely used in the guitar making because of its rich sound qualities. The colored layers of the wood veneers also add to the uniqueness and appeal of these one-of-a-kind items and really turn heads.
